"The garlic rolls are addictive, I had 3!! The split pea soup, yum but the codfish special was ok, great piece of fish, not knocking that but it was missing some flavor. Now others may disagree, my taste buds have been ruined with spicy foods so I always need a huge burst of flavor, but still delicious. Plus the hostesses and our server were great! Will definitely come back oh and I don't typically eat meat but did try a bite of the Riley and it was pretty damn good. It's hard to find good red meat in America!"

My take is always that I could eat the appetizer plate and leave totally satisfied. The creativity and execution of the four elements surpasses what one would experience in an entire meal elsewhere. "Outstanding in every way! Both my wife and I had the salmon sashimi appetizer and the halibut and both dishes were delicious. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and described each menu item. My wife has food allergies and the waiter was able to suggest good options and also had the kitchen modify the sashimi so that it did not affect her allergy. The chocolate mousse was very tasty as well. Clearly the best restaurant in the Hamptons!"

"Highway Restaurant is just simply the best restaurant out East for delictable meals from salad to dessert. I was never a fan of Kale salad until I discovered a kale salad here with the most delicate dressing, dressed with chips made from squash, and various tangy and sweet surprises. The fried calamari was so light and just the right amount with a nice spicy atoli very fresh. Then fresh burrata with multicolored beets nicely dressed. The late corn was grilled and dressed perfectly. And John's eggplant parmigiana light and flavorful. Best thing was the apple crumb dish. Simply superb. Fit for foodies, etc. One can honestly feel the loving preparation of each item on the menu. Warm, cosy, elegant, good wines, we can't say enough."

"Disappoint. at the visit of the eastern end of li we were delighted to taste this restaurant. as a restaurant owner and chef for 30 years I was pleased to see chateaubriand on the menu. the joy stopped when the dinner came for 2. what we received was 5 discs filet mignon on a cold plate, with the soße straight out of the refrigerator. it came with 1 order of the pommes. every chateaubriand I have ever eaten with kartoffels and carrots, and hot kies or demi glacé. when we informed the server, he said that they serve the sauce ice cream cold. everything I can say is euwwww. the flesh was tender when they like cold meat with a temperate sauce. all for $92.00! the manager I...read more"

"Long time Sant Ambroeus customer in the city Lafayette and Perry and UES . The quality of food is the same totally . However the service was HORRIBLE . Had to ask the server for salt , for bread , for filling my glass up every time even though the place wasn’t busy .
