What Stanley750 doesn't like about The Willow:
Having travelled over 30 miles to have a meal,we were told at 1.15, that we could not have a hot lunch but only snacks.We were greeted by a ferocious woman who seemed to take a delight in food not being available with no hint of an apology or charm. In fact she ruined our day and was a poor advert for Alford which needs to encourage visitors.We have been before but certainly will not be returning. read more.

In addition to sweet pieces, cakes, and simple snacks, we also have cold and hot drinks, Besides the delicious sandwiches, healthy salads and other snacks also make a good snack.

Regularly pop in for a cup of tea or coffee and have had meals there as well. Great portions of home made dishes. Steak pie is one of the best ever tasted.

"Great hospitality from Nigel and his staff who made sure we were comfortable and happy. Lovely pint and our meals were absolutely superb. Great value, had Sunday diner, proper fresh veg perfectly cooked, meat was fantastic and again cooked to perfection. Also the proper pie was wonderful and great portions. Couldn’t recommend highly enough, thank you."

"Excellent food and service. Myself and four of my friends recently enjoyed lunch at the sea breeze restaurant. Two of us had crab, it was certainly the best crab I have ever had. It reminded one of my friend of the fresh crab her parents used to get when she was a child that had just literally been caught and immediately prepared to eat. We were all extremely impressed. Two of my other friends enjoyed the vegan lasagne which they said was amazing."
