What berlingtonbertie2 doesn't like about Headlands:
Decent quality breakfast at the Headlands, and ate it all. Very nice bacon, and perfect fried egg. I have to rate it down on the fact that the breakfasts don't have other optional extras like black pudding or hash browns and all come with chips. I like me chips not on a breakfast though. Tables weren't fully clean when we got there nice dollop of brown sauce was left on the menu and on the table. Some staff seem less... View all feedback. What User likes about Headlands:
for the first time for a Sunday dinner here, no complaining . many good quality bark meat, vegetables were not cooked. the flower cauliflower cheese was good, but much too hot too much time in the microwave perhaps. only complain, the menu clearly says they get two yorkshire puddings, this is not the case. I should have complained. View all feedback.

read moreNestled just a stone's throw from the lighthouse, Headlands Restaurant and Cafe Bar offers a mixed yet generally positive dining experience. Breakfasts, though tasty with highlights like perfectly cooked bacon, can feel limited due to the absence of common extras. The cafeteria-style service, requiring patrons to order at a counter, suits the venue’s busy tourist traffic but may not appeal to everyone. While many dishes, like the haddock and chips, receive praise for flavor and portion size, inconsistencies exist, such as missing ingredients and cleanliness issues. Nevertheless, the beautiful views and reasonable prices make it a worthwhile stop.
Good old fashion pub grub with some interesting schnapps delicious supplements. local krabbe was nice and fish cake went a tasty. not posh, but warm and timely.
