We’ve eaten a few stunning meals from the Horse Jockey Over the past 8 month. The Sunday lunches are really tasty and seem good value. The burger and chips take-a-way feast was filling to say the least. The chips were dark brown and just reminded me of childhood, when food was an art. understood to have new owners and re furbished. called as it was advertised as having 'good selection of beers ' and the adverts and signage outside all advertise 'cask ales ' which to me means 'real hand pulled ales '.... called in for a quick drink and on approaching the bar saw a pump advertising Doonbar ale and adjacent to it one for Pravha larger.... both pumps illuminated.... order drinks from both to be told '...
