all the cakes and pastries are really fresh . The staff are friendly and knowledgeable .The pastries and pies are well filled and the pork pies delicious. The produce ie ham ,corned beef , sausage s etc are a bit pricey but worth it . Wide variety of breads and rolls View all feedback.

Staff pleasant, hygiene standards not good.. Surrey should be wearing gloves when handling food instead of bare hands! Also serving on till whilst touching food. Food is nice but not much of a variety.. View all feedback.

I couldn’t believe the price for a sausage roll nothing special not even a large one £1.30 can’t see any reason for this high price

"Been here many times over the years and visited Friday 21st August 2020 for Lunch being our first time since lockdown began. Had to wait about 10minutes for a table but was no problem. Great menu as always. I had the pie and the wife had quiche. The food was as always lovely and at a good price. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Will be back"

"Absolutely superb Nicola and Nicki run a first class place that feels like you’re eating somewhere exclusive and special . Hard to believe this is Rugeley and just 4 doors from my childhood home!
