"Fantastic location, easy to park, friendly staff. the fish is great with crispy teig and its cooked fresh to order. the muddy heaps taste of peas and are not as many places watery. don't go anywhere else, trinity deserves to do well."

"Went on Sunday for brunch with my husband. We had the small and large vegetarian breakfasts and both were extremely poor. The vegetarian “bacon” was vile why even bother when there are so many nicer things that could be served. Small breakfast was three slices...of “bacon” which were cold, a single small sausage, two slices of tomato and an egg. The large had the same but with an extra sausage, beans, mushrooms and hash brown. Really poor show and very expensive for what you get. Could not possibly recommend. Wish we had gone to Wetherspoons instead."

"I have been going into Birds since I was a kid and have always found it a relaxing place to eat.They also did the catering for my Dads 80th which was great success. Recently they changed the menu which I found disappointing and didn't go so much. The bacon egg and chips was lovely which they stopped doing. I lover the fact that it hasn't changed much since it has been open which is part of its charm. and you can watch the world go by from the window. Was really gutted to find out the cafe' is now closing. Can't you change your mind and get Mary Queen of shops to help give it a new lease of life instead of relocating?"

"In a party of The two steaks were awful mine uneatable it was so grisly. Other meals were good. Staff uninterested in resolving issue. On balance wouldn't return as I now know if there were any further issues that I'd just have to live...with it."

"Having two daughters with food allergies is always very difficult when going away on holiday with the family. Usually as a family we get quite anxious regarding our children’s food allergies however our breakfast meals at the Beefeater Merry Monk Burton on Trent was outstanding. All the staff were very helpful and catered for my daughters food allergies however the chef Kerryanne went above and beyond to assist with my daughters food allergies. Kerryanne cooked each breakfast meal for each daughter separately and also doubled each food allergy again which was fantastic and reassuring to us. Kerryanne is a great credit to her company and she made our breakfast amazing. She provided great reassurance to us and also gave us great confidence on eating here. We would definitely recommend anybody with food allergies to eat here. Excellent work and thank you again Kerryanne (chef)."
