"This is the second trip to ship of georgie’s canal cruises and I can honestly say the minute they go to board they are treated like family not a paying customer. such a warm, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. the employees are all so kind and can not do enough for them, they were different on both travel and the service has not changed. our first cruise was a fish chip scale and it was excellent, with large portion sizes and served with brot and butter with a cup of mushy. absolutely tasty to have lived in penkridge, and our favorite chippy is the one used by the georgie, I can say that they will not be disappointed! the second visit was on a afternoon tee with some working friends and again it was great. we all sat together at the front of the boot that was great. the tee was filled up and sandwiches delicious, even the less adventurous among us were given simple sandwiches and all were happy. the cakes were all homemade and very delicious! my only disappointment was not able to say one of the scorpses, I have a strawberry allergy and forget to tell them when booking, and although I asked for an alternative, it was too late as they have nothing on board, but that was totally my own fault! the weather was quite naff at both visits, but it stops them a more pleasant trip, made it more comfortable and they still get the fantastic view as they move along the canal. would definitely recommend something different and relaxing and I will definitely visit many thanks to x"

"It was perhaps not the best night to try this place for the first time (nye), but this should not apologise the bad service and the ambiente. I asked about the taste recipe and was abruptly said that “it is silvester they know we are packed and not do it tonight”. the food was beaten on the table, there was a table with drunk young singing (bad,) that was only 19.30 the starter (trio of infiniti) was oversalted. our main thing (lamb achari a prawnteller) were however very good. possibly worth visiting another in a quiet night for the staff."

"Absolutely superb Nicola and Nicki run a first class place that feels like you’re eating somewhere exclusive and special . Hard to believe this is Rugeley and just 4 doors from my childhood home! I have been three times before in small to medium groups but not done a couple night. Absolutely superb, and will go very soon again. The set menu, we did not choose as a special occasion) is a giveaway at 15.95… just do it!"

"We were passing thru near stoke on trent and googled best Sunday lunch near me, this place popped up, and it did not disappoint The food was perfect, I had creamy mushrooms for starters and my Missus had prawn cocktail, followed by roast beef dinner for both of us, food and service was excellent. "Rang for a table told they will reserve 1 for me and my family, which was obviously denied at arrival. Training issues definitely, boast a big seating area however barely fit more than 10 tables. After 2 hours waiting we got seated annoyed and angry at some bold ex gangster claiming to be the owner (due to his behaviour), was very very rude. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. Then my family was sat with children all I could here is the f word amongst staff. Clearly novices. Food was good but definitely average. Never going again!! Can't charge RITZ prices and deliver McDonald's service."
