"The food was very good. However, I walked in and ordered the Two Meat and Two Sides dinner. Did not look like the previous persons post. My entire meal fit into one carry out box. It was not the bowl of baked beans and nicely placed brisket as in the photo. Oh and they lost my order so I waited for 40 minutes. Again the food was very good just disappointed in the quantity and service from the kitchen."

"Fine dining this is NOT. The soup was tasty, the perch and the salad were pleasant, although the perch was quite under-seasoned. But the green beans were barely tepid and the sweet potato had clearly been prepared much earlier. The décor is just sad--laminate table tops and cutlery rolled up in paper napkins. But the worst of it was the miserable service from our downright surly waiter. We arrived at 7:05, the place didn 't close till 8, but from the moment we sat down it was clear he did not want the tedious task of serving us--also known as his job--at all. His face was like nine days of rain, and questions were answered in a bored and barely audible monotone. Our food was literally dumped on the table. The wine I ordered was dumped on the table *after* our food had arrived, although I had ordered it before we placed our meal order. When we finished our entrees a few minutes after 8:00, he showed up at our table and asked if we wanted any dessert--TO GO. How to make a paying customer feel welcome? That would be a resounding No . I do not expect haute cuisine in a small town up north in the middle of the week in October. But I DO expect an honest effort by the staff to make my meal enjoyable and to make me feel the restaurant is glad to have me there. The prices are much too high for this level of uninspired food and truly awful service. I will not waste my time or money here again."
