What Chriscward likes about Number Seven:
The food is lovely not a large choice but well presented and properly prepared. The amuse bouche starters are something different and very tasty. We've eaten here several times and never been disappointed. The waiters are actually the porters and so are looking after guest arrivals as well as serving in the restaurant, so I guess it can get slow at times when it's busy. The great location and fabulous rooms make the Edinburgh Residence. We ate in the Number Seven restaurant this evening and had a pretty poor dining experience. To begin with the white wine was served warm event though the waiter said it came from the back of the fridge. The replacement wine was perfectly chilled and very nice. The current menu may be expanded on site to include seasonal specialties and weekly recommendations. In addition to a variety of meals, the card also offers a diversity of beverages and typical house dishes. Additionally, the menu also takes into account dishes and ingredients that have been positively highlighted by visitors, even if these have not yet been recorded.
