"Got a chili toastie and couldn't finish it. Bread damp and stodgy. Flavourless cheese. Just tasted of nothing really. Not gonna go crazy reviewer and say it ruined ma life or that but really wouldn't recommend it."

"I’d been a bit reluctant about The Table, a multi-course fine dining chef’s table experience, as I couldn’t quite work out whether the ten-seat, single-sitting, New Town curio on Dundas Street would work better (or at all) if you went in a two, four or whole restaurant party. As it turned out, its exceptional busyness meant I had to book well in advance and could only get a week night seating for two, so the decision was helpfully taken out of my hands."

"We had the 5 course tasting menu. They were flexible amd allowed us to switch a starter for a dessert. The food was lovely with the cocoa ravioli being my favourite. A bit of room for improvement the squid dish was a bit chewy in texture, the music was a bit too loud and my friend's lamb was a bit too rare bit they did tale it back and cook it for longer. I would come back to this very pleasant neighbourhood restaurant that manages to combine flavours very well."
