Diners have praised the quality of food, especially the expertly prepared crepe suzette, and friendly service. However, consistency is an issue; while some meals delight, others disappoint with unbalanced dishes and sluggish service. The ambiance seems to vary, influenced by whether the restaurant is bustling or quiet. Overall, Restaurant 100 offers a charming experience, but potential guests are advised to check for events and conditions before dining.
Lovely service and food. Would've liked more options on the menu though. Great location but shame the view was blocked by scaffolding.
We dined here on a Friday night using the Top Table offer. The food was excellent, very tasty and beautifully prepared. The crepe suzette was prepared at the table and was delicious as were the starters and main course. the view from the Royal Over-Seas League building in which Restaurant 100 is locted is especially good at night with the Castle lit up and other buildings at either end of PrincesStreet also illuminated. Sadly when we there we were the only diners (actually this made for a lovely time for us as we were entertaining my rather deaf elderly step mother). Well worth a visit for the view and the food. The stafare friendly and accommodating.
Whilst the food was delicious the atmosphere was non existent. We were there on an evening where a big party was in the main dining room. The service was therefore after everyone else and it took nearly 3 hours for a 2 course meal, You need to check who else is in before you go. And take a coat. It was freezing and they couldn't fins a socket to plug in a heater. A great pity for a place with so much potential
We had a fantastic lunch with delicious starters and a great selection of main courses. Our waiter Michael was excellent, with a great sense of humor. We would definitely return to this restaurant.
The appetizers were enjoyable. The main dishes were good in terms of animal protein, but they were too heavy on carbohydrates and lacked salad or vegetables, making the meal unbalanced. The desserts were generally heavy. The ice cream was mediocre. The house red wine was undrinkable. Dinner was a disappointment compared to a previous visit when it had been very good.
