Contribute FeedbackLocated on Princes Street, Yo Sushi offers a nostalgic nod to its vibrant past but struggles to meet expectations in its current state. While attentive and friendly staff provide a warm welcome, the venue’s rundown appearance—characterized by a dirty entrance and faulty lighting—detracts from the experience. Menu offerings appear limited, with small portion sizes that don’t justify the higher prices. Although some dishes, like the chicken katsu curry and kaiso seaweed salad, earned praise for their flavors, others, such as the ramen, disappointed with a watery broth. Despite a few enjoyable moments, an air of neglect casts a shadow over this once-beloved spot.
Pretty expensive for what you get. Portions are so small. Wouldn’t go back again. Apart from that it was ok
Lovely and tasty food with a very cool system of delivery. However thing advertised on the menu were not available for order and the food was considerably pricey. Staff were lovely and very helpful.
We went late in the day so there wasn't as much variety on the conveyor belt. We ordered from the menu and the vegetarian options were great but the fish options were a little disappointing. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Amazing service. They were all so welcoming and friendly. And the food was great. The views are incredible. Would definitely recommend
Post pandemic the place has really suffered. The staff are nice and friendly but I think they are being over stretched, they have the foot traffic as well as the order from online services. This demand also affects how much the chefs can produce, there is really nothing on the conveyor belt. They should invest in more staff as they are clearly being overworked and that affects the quality of the service received. Didn't realise the button system had seized to Exist and wasn't once approached about ordering any food from the menu. One bowl I picked up was HEAVILY stained, not the staffs fault- I get the sense that upper management hasn't invested any money since the place open a decade ago. The place seems run down. Also I pieced up a sushi that had iceberg lettuce in it- seriously? Iceberg lettuce in sushi???
