The owners were lovely, the coffee excellent and the scones absolutely delicious. Such a variety of unique flavours it was hard to choose. My friend commented best scone I 've had in my life and I agree. View all feedback.
This must be one of my favorite places for a Sunday after stockbridge market; oh and sometimes for a pre-market bacon butty. with art on the wall (some of artists/owners ingrid,) it is a more comfortable place to relax. stuart is the masterpiece behind baking and its mahoosive scene are notorious throughout the entire cake community in edinburgh. its pastries are served with fresh fruit and crème fraîche; no nancy pancy discs here, these are many big wedges. the favorites are rooted and ingwer, planted and simply a simple ingwer with a crisp icing that is not excessively sweet. free wifi keeps addictive happy. bon p, as it is known, is also the home of fabbytits becher!
My first ever scone and omg I couldn't ask for a better experience. The owners are really nice, the shop is cute and has a lot of nice paintings exposed (even in the restrooms! . The cinnamon scone was perfect (I tried other scones while in Edinburgh and couldn't find a single one that could compete with it , the cream, the jam and the tea were also really good. The tableware was the cutest. I loved it and I would recommend it to anyone. (5.40£ for the scone and the tea .
We specifically came for the scones after reading some excellent reviews and we weren’t disappointed. The scones are absolutely delicious! There’s a big variety of scones from raisin to blueberry as well as pecan and some more savoury ones. Great value for money too as they were only £2 with butter or cream and jam! Highly recommended! Really friendly owners as well.
They do scones and tea for a reasonable price. The tea is the way I like it Hot! Not lukewarm like other places. Their scones are good too, not the usual flavours. They have blueberry, cinnamon, ginger etc. The scones are big and fill you up. It's a small cute little shop with few tables. The owners are lovely and friendly. They serve tea in cute sets. Wish I found them earlier.
Wow. This coffee shop and art gallery is wonderful. Introduced by family we were taken to view the art and to enjoy the cakes. There is a wide variety of scones which are served warm and with the condiments you want (jam and cream all the way for me). I had it on great authority that the blueberry muffins were out of this world and they did not disappoint. I can't wait to visit again. The only difficulty is deciding what to have...
