"Maybe this place is as good as people say, but I wouldn't have any idea how to discriminate women with babies. When I came up with a baby, I was told that we cannot have one of several empty tables, because it is “policy to serve or rather its policy is that mothers should confine themselves to their own houses!? "Stopped in for brunch on a Thursday early noon after a quick scout on TripAdvisor for places to eat on Morningside Road. A bustling cafe with stripped back wooden tables contrasting against rather elaborate metal light fittings and a mismatch of metal or simple cotton fabric covered chairs, we were luckily shown to the last available table in the back room. The cafe appears small from the outside but is actually deceptively big. Music was easygoing chill out which added to the relaxed atmosphere. Smiling waitresses helped also. "We did dinner and wine pairing. Dinner started absolutely amazing until we got to the bread course. Everything else from that point onwards (including the two main courses) was a disappointment. The fish course was overcooked, the duck course was undercooked. The staff didn’t even bother to remedy the situation. Very disappointed given the more than 500 GBP bill for a dinner for 2"

"Priced fairly and good selection of sides. As well as feasting on the generously sized bowls in person, we often order a selection of the sides via a delivery app when there’s an offer! We’ve been known to share a super indulgent coffee from time to time too. Best place in Edinburgh for a healthy vegan lunch in my opinion."

"Probably one of the best pizzas I still had. I have a piece of civerinos and it tasted so good I thought to bring a whole dead home. the size of the disc was really bigger than my head and made me feel satisfied. great taste and texture around"

"Outstanding. Deserving of every 5 start rating, an absolutely delicious place for a wrap, soup or salad. This saved my culinary day. The owner is a lovely resident of Edinburgh, Omar. The wrap was simple, humble and delicious. I really enjoyed the fusion of flavour with Sudanese and Mediterranean Flavor. The chili harrissa with preserved lemon was just outstanding. Wraps and Salads are always available as is the delicious Vegan Banana, Oak and Sultana cake. They have a more extensive menu that is available weekends. If you would like to try on a weekday, give the restaurant a call to see what they have available. Truly a gem in Bruntsfield.
