"We stumbled upon The Pakora Bar one snowy Saturday afternoon before catching our train home and it did not disappoint. The staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful with food recommendations. More importantly, the food was AMAZING, very well priced and the restaurant had a lively atmosphere. You can tell how passionate this family-run business is. Perfectly located for anyone near the train station. What a gem!"

"We did dinner and wine pairing. Dinner started absolutely amazing until we got to the bread course. Everything else from that point onwards (including the two main courses) was a disappointment. "Priced fairly and good selection of sides. As well as feasting on the generously sized bowls in person, we often order a selection of the sides via a delivery app when there’s an offer! We’ve been known to share a super indulgent coffee from time to time too. Best place in Edinburgh for a healthy vegan lunch in my opinion."

"Outstanding. Deserving of every 5 start rating, an absolutely delicious place for a wrap, soup or salad. This saved my culinary day. The owner is a lovely resident of Edinburgh, Omar. The wrap was simple, humble and delicious. I really enjoyed the fusion of flavour with Sudanese and Mediterranean Flavor. The chili harrissa with preserved lemon was just outstanding. Wraps and Salads are always available as is the delicious Vegan Banana, Oak and Sultana cake. They have a more extensive menu that is available weekends. If you would like to try on a weekday, give the restaurant a call to see what they have available. Truly a gem in Bruntsfield. Thank you for my delicious wrap and your friendliness Omar, you are a wonderful addition to this neighborhood!"

"Wonderful location in a cute part of town. I ordered the biscoff latte and the Greengrocer breakfast along with a plain scone and everything was fabulous. My boyfriend had the croque madame and he said it's one of the best things he's eaten. The best breakfast we had in Scotland! The owner is also fabulous and kind and we had a great chat. Can't wait to go back."
