What you get is more than what you pay. I've been to many western-chinese places and smilies is by far the best food for the cheapest price. The staff is always friendly (at least whenever I'm there and the food is good. If it doesn't look fresh just ask them to switch it out and they will. It's a typical western Chinese buffet lots of deep fried, sweet food. As far as that style goes, the food is better than most. It's not an Asian culinary experience, but a western one. Having said that, they charge too much for a child's buffet. They charged us the same for a child's buffet as an adult's. We didn't appreciate that, and don't plan to be back.
