Nice surprise on the edge of the road between Church and Besse. A nice plate of cheese, St Nectaire and Cantal, and especially ask for the stuffed cabbage.

Simple meal (single menu, dish, cheese and dessert at 18.5€ of very good quality : local products very fresh. Very friendly welcome! I recommend!

"Les Mancelles is found just out of Mont Dore on a little country road, near the ski slopes. Reasonably priced and varied menu, including menu of the day and set menus. Anna was friendly and welcoming and spoke English. Seems a popular restaurant and children are welcome. Pre booking might be necessary. Accommodation is also available and I think is reasonably priced."
