We ate in this place and two of us who ordered the shrimps in Avocado, got diarrhea and another felt unusable after the Tostaden. I would avoid this place!
Great shrimps and fish dishes on a wonderful beach with sugar like sand. The raw tropical wooden tables are fantastic.

"With an extensive menu this restaurant has something for everyone. Delicious Sapporo beer will accompany any of the available dishes. We were staying in Rincón de Guayabitos and even though this little town has plenty of small restaurants we opted to visit La Penita de Jaltemba, Rincón de G’s neighbor to the north. We were not disappointed; the service was excellent, staff was very friendly and the owner served a mean spicy tuna roll. We highly recommend this restaurant!"
