Delicious! My husband enjoyed the burger, while I loved all the barbecue hot dogs. This place is a fantastic addition to Elkader!
I live in South Carolina, but my family has roots in Elkader, Iowa, where my elders have been raving about these burgers for years. I had them for the first time during a family visit to Elkader, and I recently returned for a family gathering. Before a riverboat trip, our entire group ordered burgers from this stand, and they were incredible—just as good as I remembered. I've dined at some upscale, trendy burger restaurants, but this little car stand outshines them all. It's the best burger I've ever had, and the trip was absolutely worth it.
