visited here with my mother for a quiet lunch. this is one of our favorite places to dinate. the pub is traditional old style with a lot of charm. the staff is very friendly and welcoming. eating and drinking quality was perfect and we enjoyed our lunch. a special thank you to leah, our server, who has made a space available on error-free service and felt most welcome. I went for the Curry Night option that included a choice of two curries, wobbly bhajis reis and naan. the Butternuss pumpkin dhansak with kicherbsen was beautiful, like the Goan king prawn curry, although the garnel not king size by her standards! neither the dish was particularly sharp, the naan and bhaji were in order without being exceptional. the chicken chicks and the leaking pie looked great and went well down.
