"Second Home in Eltham is nice and cozy cafe with combination of dining and lounge seating... loved the ambience and the service. Cafe has its own parking which can be a bit tricky to get in and out of if your driving a big car and was full when on a Saturday morning. We ordered 'Our Benedict, the dutch hot chocolate and a dish with beans and bread on the side. Food was tasty with good portions. Highlight was the dutch hot chocolate which was enough for two of us... the benedict was also yum however the beans were a little underwhelming with too much gravy and spices with not enough beans on the dish. Overall, was a good experience, so we might give it another go."

"Have been coming here for a while and the food is always amazing! Have also had take-away and probably everything on the menu. Their salads are always fresh, steak comes out perfect, calamari tender and those polenta chips! OMG! Good coffee, desserts and great service, nothing is ever too much trouble!"

"Love this little cozy cafe in a quiet laneway of Eltham. Great coffee and delicious food! We tried the Haloumi sandwich and the McPoison. Love the glorious flavour of grilled green and Haloumi cheese. Very friendly staff too. Will definitely visit again."

"I went with a couple of friends on a Friday night. It is a cute establishment , crowded seating and has tapas like food. Service is good and staff are friendly. We ordered a number of the tapas to try. The food was quite good. I particularly liked the fried stuffed jalapeños, which are spicy. I felt,a lot of the other food was average to quite good,quality. Not fabulous and slightly over priced"
