"My daughter had been here before and said it had great healthy food. I remember when it was an art gallery many years before.<br <br Arriving at midday we were quickly shown to a table they set up for the three of us, with menus, water and glasses.<br <br The place was busy but not over busy. Staff were awesome. Very attentive, checking in and out every now and again but not intrusive. <br <br I had the gnocchi which was one of the most different styles of gnocchi that I 'd had before. The raw egg was a different touch but the waiter told me to mix it in quicky along with the ricotta very, very tasty and fresh.<br <br My daughter had a burger with fries which she split with her brother who ordered something from the menu that was smaller than what he thought. They said it tasted 'unusualy ' and weren 't that happy with it but there are plenty of other things on the menu to try.<br <br Freshly squeezed orange juice superb. Vietnamese coffee superb.<br <br There is a variety of seating options inside outside couch booths long benches. The rustic retro style is certainly appealing an despite the warehouse feel to it, the acoustics are good.<br <br Went to the toilets and they are just superb clean, plenty of everything you might need. There is also for sale some lovely bottles of wine, water, chutneys and jams.<br <br There is parking on site but also on the street. Can be a bit tight on those busy days.<br <br I would highly recommend this little gem in Eltham and explore the menu to find those little tasty treats.<br <br PS good place for kids too."

"This is a high end restaurant that concentrates on using obscure and locally sourced produce. The menu is unlike anything I’ve ever seen.<br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ Fine dining in Warrandyte! Popped in for lunch and they have a $29 lunch special which is two courses and a coffee. Soup had lentils, mushroom and onions and was interesting! Main was a choice of risotto or salmon roullets ? . It was enjoyable and definitely worth coming back to eat a la carte. Nice fitout and knowledgeable waitress."

"Tried the steak and garlic prawns. Garlic prawns were so tasty but the steak was a little over cooked (we ordered medium). The bacon and red cabbage salad was quite special. Staff were also super friendly. Will come again"

"Fondata at Wellers 1872 is a fairly new restaurant where Wellers Hotel commenced operating in 1872. The old hotel was extended and completely renovated and looks brand new, while still retaining the best features of the old building, including the 2 way fire place and chimney made with handmade bricks - something my wife and I used to enjoy when having lunch at Wellers Hotel in the 'old days'.The Restaurant that has replaced the old hotel is hard to fault - the menu, the wine list, the friendly and efficient staff, the environment and the views of the countryside."

"I don't like to be mean. But my allegiance is to who reads this not the restaurant. Sounds "full of himself " but let's agree. The food on the table was fine. The service was way sub standard. If you employ family as front of house and she has no none English that's a minus for naive Thai diners who would like to be guided through the menu. Is this a balanced choice? Smile. Red duck curry. Chicken masuman. Tasty but not really distinctive flavors."
