"Went here based on recommendation from hotel São João. Luckily we booked ahead, as it filled very quickly after 7.30pm. Exceptionally friendly staff and very knowledgeable about food and wine. The shared starter of gambás was fabulous. For main we had fillet of beef in pepper sauce and beef on hot stone. The [portion sizes was big and the food was exceptional. The whole meal experience was delightful."

"The dinner started with some lipsticks on my water glass. They changed it, but it was not a nice way to begin a dinner with. The service was not quite nice, but changed to outstanding once they noticed we had a Portuguese speaking with us. The food was very good. Wine recommendation was perfect. Worth a visit if you are in Badajoz."
