"Absolutely brilliant. Each dish served was an absolute treat. I would highly recommend the goat cheese appetizer and would provide a photo but we ate it all before I got a chance. I left my hat and they were kind enough to keep it in the back for me until I came back to get it the next day. Five stars easy."

"This is my first time here. I can tell you that it was a treat! The service was wonderful, the decor was rustic with its stain glass lights hanging, and the food was amazing. My fiancée Lachs was probably my favorite between this and my hot Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. We love Ely and now it's another place to love while we visit. "Stopped here for a pre dinner ice cream treat while staying in Ely. The ice cream was expensive, as ice cream is when bought at a shop, but the waffle cone and ice cream were very good! The store itself had interesting decor and fun table seating. There was a store mascot golden retriever who begged for droppings and the palor was connected to a little gift shop."

"The lines are always long at the drive-through but the wait was worth it. The French fries were hot and crispy and the fish sandwiches were hot and tasty. We planned to go back through the line to get sundaes for which we had coupons but the line was so long we decided to defer to another time."

"Yesterday evening with my family. The service was great. Had a Bloody Mary that was delicious. Most of us had burgers who were very good but had cooked a little longer. The side salad my mother came together with her burger was phenomenal. Nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend and will return."

"Stayed here for one night for a work trip and wished I could have stayed longer! All of my coworkers agreed: Room was exceptionally clean (if a little north woods dated) and very comfortable. Food was great tons of easy options. Just remember to make reservations because it gets BUSY. And the service was top notch I just stayed at the 5 star Mandarin Oriental in Jakarta for my honeymoon and I told my husband that I felt more welcomed at the Grand Ely. I’m already looking for dates for when I can bring the family up for a few days."
