"I was in the house last night with some friends, and it was such a wonderful night. I participated in veganuary and decided to go on and this restaurant made me so welcome and made the whole experience so easy! one of the most vegan friendly places I visited and it is right at our doorstep! the owner even came out to explain my options and ask if I was satisfied with them all. such a wonderful experience from a meaty restaurant and eating was also amazing (as it is always! many thanks for a great night."

"Disappointing… waiting staff super miserable and unhelpful. Ordered kids meals which the menu said came with beans but were served peas. When questioned, the peas were returned and we were told they had run out of beans. It seemed like the staff couldn’t care less about anyone or anything! Beef was cut very thick, chewy and was nowhere near pink. The wine was nice but not at £10 per 250ml!!! Too expensive for the poor quality. Bar staff were lovely but that’s probably my only positive."

"First time visiting The Miners Arms, and it will not be our last. Absolutely spotlessly clean throughout. Landlady and staff are very friendly and welcoming . I had hunters chicken, and my husband had ham egg and chips. Both meals lovely and served with a lovely side salad. Thank you, Miners Arms, for a beautiful meal and friendly welcome. 5 very well deserved stars from me . You will definitely see us again . Price per person: £30–40"
