What Graham K likes about The Black Swan:
I visited here with my wife. We entered and made welcome. We order a meal i had liver and bacon large £11.95 and there was a lot of it. My wive had a small ham egg and chips £8.95 and there was quite a lot as well. Service was very good and it was busy. Very impressed. Would visit again if in the area. View all feedback.
What An Old Burian doesn't like about The Black Swan:
We pre booked having warned the pub that one person in our party had a severe allergy to dogs (requiring on going hospital treatment) and we were assured by the landlady when we booked that whilst they did allow dogs into the restaurant, there were no such bookings on the day...........so no problem except that the landlord deliberately brought his dog through to introduce him to us !!!!! 1010 hands down the best roast I've Had in a pub. Highly recommend. Warm and welcoming atmosphere.. really log fire burning and people so friendly
Excellent food service my sister and I took my uncle there and were pleasantly surprised. Nice old fashioned pub. Creamy mash, lots of meat on our lamb shanks.

The menu of the local is also suitable for vegetarians, as there are menus that entirely abstain from meat, and even has gluten-free dishes on the menu list.
