"I was incredibly disappointed with my experience. I ordered online and was given a collection time of 6pm. I was there to collect at 6pm and had to wait half an hour for the food. I understand that if it’s busy then food can take longer but they had my phone number and email so they could have told me. They weren’t apologetic and if anything, they seemed surprised that I was unhappy. Foolishly I didn’t ask them to check the order before I left. I got home to discover that one of the items ordered was missing and the samosas were meat instead of veg. It was actually the worst takeaway experience I’ve ever had."

"Poor: Been getting our curries from here for a very long time…always been brilliant. However, the last couple have very mediocre at best. I used to overlook the premium prices because the food was sublime, but things have changed and I feel they’ve taken advantage of the food consumer prices. Prices have increased, but the product has decreased. Lamb used to be melt in the mouth, now just almost inedible cubes…same with chicken and duck. Don’t even get me started on the prawn dishes…two jumbo prawns in a buttery garlic sauce…£8.50 taking the p**s tbh. Up your game guys or you’ll be gone"

"Unusual decor but made us smile. The lady who looked after us was amazing, seemed to have a sixth sense completely left us alone but was always there if we even thought that we might want something! As for the food it was really lovely, all three of us had a starter and main (no dessert) and they were all really nice. It is also exceptional value would be really good value if the food was just ok but for this quality it was amazing. One small criticism is that the vegetarian options on the main courses were limited to a vege burger and risotto (plenty of choice on starters) but my vegetarian son said that the risotto was great. My bigger criticism is that it is in Croydon where my son lives rather than Winchester where we live as we would like to go there far more regularly!"

"The restaurant was empty when we arrived for our reservation. we were not visited as fast as it should be. another table did not sit too long after us and was served immediately. if a restaurant is as empty as this with plentiful staff, the service should have been much better. our plates were not deleted or changed after each cure. we had to ask. with food, this stinging and tasteful, plate change should be given. we had to ask for water again and again. there was a very Kursian explanation of each plate, and the recitations were hurried and red. the courts were so unusual, it would have been nice if the server acted as if they were taking care of them. when chef sully appeared, we were very excited to have the opportunity to talk to him. he spoke with the staff, then held at the only other table in the restaurant. from any reason he did not come to our table. we really wanted to meet him, so I asked if he was still there and was told by a worker that he was just outside. actually it wasn't. concerning eating, it was raised. the careful in the creation of each teller and each plate was obvious. the beef races were really excellent, accompanied by the pancetta tomaten ragu and a tasteful oyster mushroom mayo foam. my favorite was the gurkensalat, which was decorated with mango, cocosnus and buttery sunflower seeds. wow! my only culinary complaint is that every dish with oyster mushrooms was much too salted and many dishes contained them. also the lamb shell was prepared with lamb, which consisted only of gristle and fat. they were serious."
