Actually, the portions in the restaurant are still too big, I had mussels as the main dish, that was so little that I was still hungry after that. The pot was just one third full and many bowls were empty. From the crowd, the maximum was an appetizer. read more.

"Der kleine Umweg nach Esens hat sich gelohnt. Sehenswertes Lokal, Deko gemütlich, modern und originell, ohne "gewollt" zu wirken. Der Burger war hervorragend (was bei dem doch leicht gehobenen Preis zu hoffen war). Die gebratenen Schupfnudeln (ja, in Ostfriesland!) ebenfalls sehr gut, bei allerdings überschaubarer Portion. Getränkepreise ebenfalls etwas höher als anderswo. Durchweg sehr freundlicher Service!"
