stayed in avoriaz for a week and ate here every night , the food was too die for and in such a lovely setting , now the front of house team were some of the best i have seen ,relaxed but yet very professional and friendly , one night i read my watch wrong and turned up 30 mins before they open but no problem invited me in and glass of wine no problem . 10 out of 10 really . the service was extremely slow. Although eating was good, the bill was not. we were charged for a bark fillet instead of the calves we ordered. when we asked, they argued with us that we did ". when we refused to pay. they literally threatened us the bill. extremely rude staff. so much that we might consider staying in l'amara again. absolutely refuted from the attitude when the French are usually so friendly.
