We have always loved Don Pedro's Restaurant. We always stopped there whenever we were in Evanston. BUT the last two times we went there were.. well.. poor. The first of these two visits were horrible. Rude staff. Food not prepared well. But well.. everyone gets one I guess. The next visit was much better. But same rude attitude. We've been to this location many times but this will be our last time. Service was very slow and our waitress had an attitude. The food was horrible. I had two cheese enchiladas and couldn't eat them. They were mushy and had a weird taste. Others in our group had the chili rellano and the pepper was burned and the cheese was lumpy and not melted. Service was exceptional and the food was good. The salsa is very good and the Margaritas are exceptional. This place is worth a try.
