the red laterne had the best eating in fairbanks! we are there more than once: the prices in ak are higher than the lower 48, I understand, but a meal for two should not be 100 for a sandwich, steak, appetizer and dessert. we have not bought any alcohol, only water and tee 3.50 ridiculous . service was moderate. a gal was friendly but unattended. other coal was not friendly, but more attentive. so it's a mist shoot a... There is not I can say about this gem of a restaurant. Every morsel of both my wife and my dinner was great. Prime Rib Sandwich, and Seafood Alfredo I can't recommend enough.
The Red Lantern has a good variety of food options and spirits. Our party had salads, steaks, burgers and chicken. All were prepared welll. We arrived about 7:00pm and had a half hour wait but they found us a table about when they thought they would and we had a good time.
