The Local - Fallston

This place is hit or miss for me. I've had some really good meals, some really bad meals, and some in the middle. Tonight wasn't in my favor. Tried from their newmenu the chili, chicken and waffles, Chai time drink, and seasonal creme Brule. The chili was average. The C&W were absolutely awful. The gravy on them is horrible. Would have been better with syrup, or Cranberry chutney. Luckily it ended on a good note with the drink and dessert. I honestly don't think their food justifies their prices.

Amazinggggggg. Absolutely fell in love with this place. The food is absolutely amazing, excellent service, great drinks, lovely atmosphere. Their menu changes and I can’t wait to try their fall menu. Highly recommend.

The staff was super accommodating to our large and shifting party size. we were in town for a family gathering and the staff was just so kind. the food was amazing, nothing short of spectacular. it's a bit dark inside but it's the vibe. nice assortment of drinks and menu is sure to please everyone. While the food was good, it was not over the top as I expected from a $200 meal. The Sea Bass was overpowered by the Chorizo in my dish and there was no lump crab meat in my husband's crab cakes. On the other hand the chocolate souffle for dessert was very good. Service was acceptable, but the place felt cramped. This was our second time here; both times were to celebrate special occasions. Our meals were excellent on our first visit, although the service was horrible. We thought we would give it another try this time around. I am sad to say that we likely will seek another establishment to celebrate in the future.
