La Orient - Fareham

Wow We went back to back (over two weeks) to this restaurant after 10 years, and while we remember little from ten years ago, our last two trips were extremely memorable. John ticks all the boxes and more. The hospitality, ambience, and food are spectacular. They appear light-hearted and cheerful, not dissimilar to swans, but all their furious underwater paddling and synchronised hard work translates into a delightful evening. I wouldn't change a thing. Well done, team La Orient!!

Best Chinese ever, the starter was amazing and the main course even better and this was the first time I’ve had a desert in a Chinese I couldn’t believe the pot of tea the whole evening was fantastic.

I was so impressed with the food at this restaurant in Fareham. It's definitely a must-visit spot. We had a fantastic evening. Thank you to Jon and his family - we'll definitely be returning soon.

From the moment we entered, everything about this restaurant was flawless. The personalized service was fantastic, every dish was perfect, from the drinks to the dessert. The kitchen staff even came out to inquire about our meal, providing extremely friendly service. We couldn't find a single flaw in our experience.

Fantastic service and food was amazing , tofu and vegetable vermicelli was the best I’ve had , we will definitely be coming back
