Part of the BP complex just north of Brisbane, the centre which has McDonalds , KFC and Coolabah is a haven for weary travellers heading north.Unfortunately, the food at coolabah is very ordinary - asked for am egg and bacon roll merely for sustenance, it was very ordinary and the extra $1 for cheese was wasted, could barely see any cheese. read more.

"The food and service was very good quality, until the very end. My friend and I wanted to split the bill in half. We were advised by a friendly young waitress that it costs $5 extra to split the bill. I questioned this and the...boss came over, made a joke of the situation, without answering the question. He just added the cost, laughed it off and told us it wasn't expensive anyway. I would have given the restaurant a much higher rating if it wasn't for the behaviour right at the end. Which put a very sour taste to an otherwise lovely evening. I will not be returning."
