"I thought I'd be put off by the large space and bright lights but instead I was pleasantly surprised by how clean, fresh and friendly my first impression was on entering the space felt immediately intimate and welcoming. I didn't expect the delightful thrill I got from the very first greeting from the tall bearded man wearing a beret his warmth professionalism melted any doubts I had about trying out this restaurant for the first time I now believe this is my most favourite restaurant on the Coast after tonight! (and it was mentioned it has been here for 4 years ...there is also a whisper that they will be bringing back music, bands and possibly a big band! The Chef Daniel, is a genius with the multi dimensioned taste texture sensations he created from the Entree to the Deserts (of which I had to have two different ones as I couldn't decide...there was more than one that excited me! not only that, whilst I don't drink, I was offered a surprise mocktail which was very unexpected and exotic. The staff each one of them that served us were so accessible and attentive to our requests were like gold as they contributed to the light buzzy atmopsphere and overall superb experience. The kitchen and bar open and on display were sparkly and made us feel so welcome and included. Thank you for being there and making our time with you tonight such a joyful experience!"

"I don't like pizza. My family does so whenever they want it, this is the only place I'll go. The bases are authentic and smoky and delicious, the toppings generous without being slopppy and realllly good quality. The staff always lovely and helpful with my toddler. A great cosy restaurant for a nice dinner out. BYO wine is a bonus too. Don't go past the burrata pizza it's incredible! And the calzone is the best I've tried!"

"I was visiting my son in Sydney and stayed in Collaroy for a 3 week period. Looking for a nearby restaurant I found ZEST in an unassuming building and area just up the road from my apartment. Eating there for 5 nights in a row...it was difficult to move through the menu as everything I tried had to beat their sizzling Angry seafood . Service was quick polite and effective watrons being fully aware of ones needs before one asked. The surroundings look a little tired but the food and experience is a culinary delight Oh I only tried food with reasonable chilli content and was absolutely delighted of the retention of full flavour but with a decent amount of tasty heat."

"Just dined at Paddock Vine. Literally rolled out after a fabulous meal. The food is delicious, the service is great and the staff are wonderful. I am now a couple of kilos heavier : Will definitely be going back!"
