"After a long journey by train we just wanted to eat something. So we ordered some salad and a pizza. In no time we got our dishes. I have not eaten such a good pizza for many years! Normally I can not eat a whole pizza as it is to much pastry for me. But this time I ate it all."

"Stayed here for 1 night on our way to Austria. There was a group of 7 of us. We all enjoyed the hotel, evening meal, breakfast and the drinks. The staff were all really helpful and pleasant. The beds were very comfortable. If we are travelling this way again, we will definitely be looking to stay here again!"

"Excellent service: fast, friendly and very tasty meat! the atmosphere is secret, we were served extra supplements like bratkartoffeln directly from the pan without being extra charged what was super positiw! we also arrived without reservation, as we have just stopped driving, place was crowded, but we were offered a place anyway. excellent unpublished experience. recommended!"

"The hotel looks good. Unfortunately, when we sat on the terrace and asked if they could have in the kitchen lime for our drinks, the old waitress tipped out and insulted me. she even said she'll hit me if I don't stop asking. Unfortunately, the frustration of this woman leads to unsatisfactory guests, and I myself am in the hospitality industry, but that is absolutely unacceptable and rude! to the conclusion when they are looking on the way through and after food, 3km further down the street is restaurant baschi only on the road. super nice personal and amazing eat and drinklist! I'm sorry to say, but avoid this place. At least we never come back here!"

"Gimmelwald is a small, quiet village, and this is the only restaurant and it is a good one. reserve before the room is limited and all meals are served around 19 o'clock and are what the cook does in this night. we had a completely...acceptable pork fillet with red and, in the next night, cheesefondue, served with roggenbrot and birne and a green salat from the garden. the children of the owner run around and it has a happy mood."

"Top service and very nicely decorated. The map on the website is not up to date. Unfortunately, the vegetarian food was not tasty at all. Pumpkin soup didn't taste like pumpkin and was very watery. The pesto spaghetti also had little taste. Vegetarian portions rather limited. The meat dishes are obviously very good."

"Me and my wife went there to have some fresh Italian food. She ordered risotto with lamb from the lunch menu, it was pretty good. I ordered pizza quattro stagioni, I can’t say it was good... It had some champions from a can, tasteless. And...the pickled artichoke was awful, it had a rotten taste. I complained to the waiter, he talked to someone and assured me the artichoke was “fresh”, I asked him to taste it and he didn’t reply. I do not recommend the pizzeria to any pizza lover! Canned champions and rotten artichoke is something that Italian pizza should not contain!"
