Truly one of the best places on Tayside for both an evening or lunchtime meal. As they say on their website, they don't overcomplicate the dishes, often with a local or Scottish aspect and provenance. A very pleasant decor for a medium size dining room with good acoustics so you can hold a conversation with your dining partners. The rooms on site are wheelchair accessible and can also be used with a wheelchair or physical disabilities, Depending on the weather, you can also sit outside and eat. WiFi is available without additional charges.

What Mags C doesn't like about The View:
Passed on a walk with family and thought it would be nice to sit outside for breakfast. We all settled at a table and I wandered in for menus. Woman who looked in charge shrugged her shoulders and said 'we 've got nothing ' the place was half empty inside, plenty staff behind the bar and had only been open 15 minutes.
