"In these current times it is standard practice for eating establishments to reduce the size and/or quality of their dishes ………… whilst increasing prices. But not at The Old Mill, the quality of their food remains high, is attractively presented and ………… still at reasonable prices. We opted for the duck and the Parmesan cod, both were delicious with plenty of tasty vegetables and were complete dishes, with no need for further sides. And that was before the scrumptious chocolate mousse and the raspberry/vanilla cheesecake! Thank you for “bucking” the trend!"

"My first time using this fish and chip shop and will become my new go-to. This is the cleanest fish and chip shop I have ever seen! The pea fritter was amazing (potentially the best I’ve had), portions very generous and all of the staff super lovely. Thank you!"

"What an amazing place. You just have to try it. Less than a mile away from the nearest McDonalds but a million miles away in terms of quality. The pulled pork warps also looked incredible."

"This family owned cafe serves excellent coffee and delicious food in a friendly atmosphere. I had chicken breast with mash (or roast or chips) carrots, broccoli and gravy (or honey and mustard sauce). My husband opted for homemade mince beef and onion pie with the same vegetables and gravy. Both meals were hot and very tasty and I am sure we will go back soon, but they are closed Monday and Tuesday so we must remember that or we will be disappointed!"

"I've been looking for a pizza place like this Gor age! Just the best. Don't forget who ever or where you get your pizza now and get it here! real Italian pizzas. authentic expands, thin basic and delicious original toppings. Italian meat, olive, chili, piquante paprika, smoked pancetta....laden, but none of the things she gets on a large brand pizza I think is a massive plus. 12 or 20 inch sizes available (the 20 is a animal, light enough food for 4! . they also do dives, their garlic and crumble comes in a huge pot for only £1 and is a lot tastier than the competitor versions! they only deliver to po7 and po8, which is a scandal, but this is good I am happy to collect it every time (po6- they feel free to add it to their deliverable postcodes. epic, authentic pizza, they will find nothing else like it somewhere in or around portsmouth!"
