"This restaurant, sitting in the shadow of the stunning Guarda Cathedral, is a great place to spend time in this lovely old city. The setting itself is great but also the ambience of the restaurant itself, with the fire roaring nearby. The waiter who might have been the owner was exceptional, and the food and wine were likewise. The waiter suggested the T bone steak and said despite it being €19, it was big enough for two. It was perfect, cut into strips with half cooked to my taste and the other half to my wife's. Superb, with frites and salad accompanied by a wonderful vino tinto he suggested. The whole experience was so much more than a meal, and all for a very reasonable price."

"Located in the centre of the small village of Linhares, at the first glance we could not anticipate what we would find inside! Very nice and friendly staff. The food was just delicious: starters simple but elegant; the octopus was super tender as the wild boar (the Brás de alheira was just fantastic). Desserts were amazing. The pão de ló is probably the best in the universe! Price: convert main dessert coffee water, roughly 25€ pp."

"Such a great place, by far, the best I've been to in Guarda: a very nice cafe/restaurant, in which one can have breakfast, lunch or just have a coffee and, at the same time, a great bar/pub at night, with live music and a such a great environment. 5 stars!"
