I was there last Friday, it was late but they still serve us . I ordered a tuna tartar , it had too much ginger, wasn't my favorite. My friend's lasagna was good , I only tried a bit. But the should do something about the bartender it's obviously he or she doesn't know how to make a Cosmo. I love the live music, I this this place deserve 5 stars only for the piano man and the girl singer sorry I don't remember there... View all feedback.
What Kosta V doesn't like about Pasta Vino:
Super convenient place. Wish they had decent food. Nice waitstaff. Pizza IS made from frozen crusts. It was the equivalent of getting frozen pizza from CVS except worse because they added an 18% service charge. No way this joint going to make it when they have to force a tip. I would have tipped the service but the pizza was AWFUL. Cannot imagine what kind of premade nonsense goes into their pasta dishes but I won't... View all feedback.

I would have tipped the service but the pizza was AWFUL. Cannot imagine what kind of premade nonsense goes into their pasta dishes but I won't ever find out. If the owner had guts they'd make a real pizza. Awful awful awful pizza!!!! In case you didn't get it this is frozen pizza reheated for $12-13. It's AWFUL.
Truly a hidden gem in the city of North Bay Village. The Italian food was exceptional, the service was great , and of course the pianist and singers offer first class live entertainment that Miami Beach certainly needs! I will be back
We live in Treasure Island and felt it would b nice to try a restaurant in the neighborhood !!!! Huge mistake !! There was not a soul in the rest we were with 7 people. The food started out good as the night progressed so did the chefs drinking habits. He started playing sad love songs , which got louder and louder, the food got saltier and creamier, u could not say a word , we found out he was also the owner. He was miserable, rude , and very dirty looking. The check was wrong and he was to drunk to discuss it !! Pathetic !! The only nice thing was the poor waiter who we did tip nicely and if the owner was removed the atmosphere was nice !!!!!
A horrible experience the owner was drunk Rude and disrespectful we were there for a business dinner
First let me start off by saying The chef is a drunk disaster!!!! My experience started off by a very mediocre appetizer served along with a ego driven chef! The atmosphere looks like it's all the leftover furnishings from the Middle eastern restaurant that was once their prior! After having a horrible dining experience along came the bill!!!the bill did not line up with what the prices that were on the actual menu when we tried to discuss the bill with the owner he then forced to tell us a bunch of love stories saying when you are in the company of good people why talk about the price of the food!! Which I have to say if the food wasn't atrocious he may be right but $400 for one step above Pizza Hut is not on my agenda... The bottom line is I would never go back and I would never recommend anybody to go back I'm sure it is only a matter of time before the plug is pulled on this neighborhood spot the only upside is they have the amazing talent of the piano players that were once at Magnum other than that this place does not stand a chance in this competitive market.... I think the owner/chef needs to go back to wherever he came from!!! PS for whatever reason if you enjoy microwave type dinners for very expensive prices this might be a place you want to check out lol!!!!!
