"We had a New Year egg with 5 curses last night, and it must be said it was delicious, but before I get to eat, I have to cook, his assistants and all the staff of the house in the polished...maner they organized the collection of the meal. the harbour of dover could have finished with its organization, but this is another story! eating that I'm sure was a challenge in very difficult times, but chapeau they did it. the hot and cold entrées (fois gras and st. jacques) were delicious, but the star of the show was the filet de boeuf (we don't eat calves, so cook friendly agreed to do us bark meat) it was so tender that they could have cut it with a plastic spoon. cooked and seasoned to perfection and die with a taste. the 3 cheeses were themselves a meal and the chocolate surprise with fresh berries hidden below was beyond the pie. it was a shame that the restaurant remains closed because of covid 19, but remember that they take all the meal times to lunch, when preordered we are all very happy to have this restaurant before our doorstep so it needs their support. we had 2 take menu du jours ', which were excellent and a note to cook, they should market their chocolate and praline book it was from this world!"
