"The Beachburg Restaurant is a welcoming, delicious and reasonably priced spot that really gives that local experience. This place is and has been owned by one of the nicest and kindest families that you will ever meet for many, many years. Over this time they have become an important part of the community and welcome both locals and visitors with open arms. Lilly is an absolute pleasure to chat with and she and her husband are amazing cooks as well. The food is absurdly reasonably priced and is so, so good. Although Beachburg may seem like an odd place to find authentic Chinese food, this is exactly that. Lilly and her family moved to town directly from China and are anything but false. Drop in and give this wonderful little restaurant a try. You will be glad that you did."

"We dropped into the Brisons Bistro Wednesday evening for their Date Night Special. We met the new Executive Chef Kristopher and his team.. The special of the evening was authentic Butter Chicken made from scratch. Basmati Rice and Nan Bread . It was absolutely fantastic....We came back in Dec. and try his Rib Eye steak which was excellent. The New Menu has changed. Now they have a Rack of smoked ribs. Bison Burger, pasta and other excellent meals. KRISTOPHER IS A 5 STAR EXEC CHEF.. Bravo Bryson's Bistro !!!"

"This is the second time we have visited the Whitewater Riverside Pub. It is tucked away in the midst of farmers’ fields in paddling country. It serves pub food with a culinary twist, the crispy wedges with aioli are to die for. My daughter ordered...chicken soup that was lovely, with tasty morsels of chicken, and udon noodles. The outdoor patio is charming, overlooking green fields, the bathrooms are graffiti-adorned, the service is attentive and chill. Seek it out if you are in the neighbourhood rafting."
