this is currently one of two places for dinner in FORT DAVIS, so we have often eaten there. the food is hit or missed and our last two meal times were not so good. the harvard above the road is far superior. the bar here, austin, however, is excellent. they really have to recharge their game in the food department. "I've been here before and while the wait was long it was worth it. Heard they were under new management/ownership. Place looks totally different. Ordered two sandwiches and sides. Waited over 2 hours for the food and it was terrible. The chicken fried steak was burned and the chicken sandwich was cold with bones. Don't waste your time or money. I expected more for $50 sandwiches."
