Love this place. Every year since we have graduation at the broward performing arts center we swing by here after. The view is just lovely. They have happy hour during the week and even weekends. 1/2 off I had Sparkling Rose, Kir-Yanni, Greece (Wine by the Glass) (Rose Sparkling) Come out so cold and refreshing. View all feedback.
What Maritza B doesn't like about Boathouse At The Riverside:
Food Quality Flavor Has DECLINED. We're not coming back for a while. Prior to this visit my family and I loved coming here for special occasions or just because we were craving their amazing crab cakes. I used to highly recommend coming here, the atmosphere being great. The garlic shrimp used to be very tasty. Jamar, our server was great as always. View all feedback.
That's a five star. The food here is incredibly wonderful. The sushi pizza is from this world. The cartels are fabulous, the staff is wonderful. Happy hour is the best it is from 3 a.m. to 7 p.m. It's all right on the New River. I can't wait to go back.
I tried to make a reservation online, but it said they were booked, fortunately I decided to take my chances by foot and could sit quickly. The service was fantastic, our server was attentive, fast and made great comments and conversation. We started with the gator tacos and conch fritters. The tacos tasted like chicken, but I've always heard that from people who tried Gator. The frit was phenomenal and came with a fantastic Arugula salad. For my head I had the grouper cooked it wonderfully. Finally, for dessert we got the key lime cake and it was one of the better I had! Lucky we made the trip.
Best way to get a table is call and reserve. Their happy hour menu, its great! Cheap and small sized. Good for anyone like me that's visiting and wants to try a little bit of everything. My husband tried their alligator meat. Not fishy at all! I recommend anyone, who is on the fence about alligator meat to get out of your comfort zone!
We had Sunday brunch here luckily we scheduled a reservation ahead of time, because this place was busy! Our table was ready right when we arrived. I had the Rum Runner to drink and it was really delicious. We did have to wait about an hour for our food to come out, but once it did it was really good. We were able to get a table out on the outdoor covered porch and loved the view on the waterway and saw many beautiful boats float by.
Excellent dinner! It's been over 30 years since I've eaten here last night and still loves it. We started with the passion fruit ceviche- brilliant. I had a chicken cesar salad when I wanted Dessert. My wife had roasted the pan Black Grouper and we loved both. She replaced the green beans for Brussels shoots and they were from this world. The most important lime cake for dinner was great. I wish I had enough room for two. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Parking was easy as Hotel Valet took care of it.
