Bon Gusto from Fort Lauderdale Menu

What Rossie Dietrich doesn't like about Bon Gusto:
Worst imitation over-priced Italian food I have ever been served. The minestrone soup was diced celery and carrots in a flavorless broth. The Involtini Capricciosi was so tough I could hardly cut it, even with a steak knife. The Tortellini Annabella was fairly tasteless. If you crave for desserts, Bon Gusto with its magical desserts can surely make an end of it, and you will find genuine Italian cuisine with classics like pizza and pasta. After the meal (or during it), you can still relax at the bar with a alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink.

"Omg. The Pan con tortilla was soooooo good. not a fan of the croquetas...but...for that price..worth it. The pastelitos were amazing. One of the things I love about this place...is they still have good prices. "If you love real Italian cooking, La Dolce Vita is a must! We were welcomed with a warm greeting and had excellent service. Thank you Christian! The dinner menu had plenty of choices and they also had some specials of the day. We enjoyed the burrata and prosciutto salad, mushroom risotto, grilled branzino, and veal chop in truffle sauce. Every portion was more than generous, so we shared the salad and risotto. The burrata was the best we?ve had. The branzino was cooked to perfection, tender, flaky with the skin grilled so crispy that you want to eat it all. It was covered with thinly sliced zucchini that not only kept it moist during cooking but made for a beautiful presentation. And the veal chop!!!...oh my! Cooked perfectly, surrounded with a wild mushroom black truffle sauce and roasted potatoes that were creamy and crispy on the outside. They have a well priced wine list with a nice variety of Italian wines. We like full bodied wines, so we enjoyed a Barolo. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a meal there. Don?t forget to save a little room for dessert...homemade tiramisu. You will not regret it!"

"Just moved from New Jersey one year ago. Coming from a state where there are so many good Italian restaurants we have not been able to find one here — until today. Food was excellent. Pasta is home made and the sauces are delicious. The service is excellent and the owner personally stops at each table to make sure everything is to your liking. Very quaint and small place so having a reservation is a must. Will be back!!!"
