Good service, good, authentic food…..have eaten here before.
This was hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. From the first moment you walk through the door you are met with the warmth and friendliness of the staff, who throughout your meal are incredibly attentive and patient. They made my family and I feel like old friends and were happy to explain any details of the menu we had questions about. The food itself was phenomenal, and everyone’s dish and dessert were delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for true quality and service.
I expected it to be a bit more crowded as when I arrived, it was so empty I thought the place was closed. Staff was great and attentive. They start you off with a bowl of thin long crispy plantain chips in oil which was good. The chincharon de pollo was flavorful. Definitely would order that again. They bring a bowl of black beans and add the amount you want and take the bowl back. Haven’t experienced that before. I wanted a bit more afterwards but refrained from asking. The churrasco was “ok” Not too much flavor and a bit tough even getting it cooked only medium. Their famous drink “mojito” was a bit light and I’m only a social drinker and it tasted more like juice Not to mention it was $15 A but over rated for the price. Overall, I had a decent experience. I read the reviews prior to going and saw there was a new ownership so maybe they changed a few things and prices as well. I might go back but definitely won’t purchase a drink.
Outstanding service, but the cost of the food is overpriced.
We got there early, 6:30, so it was very quite. Food and service was excellent. Portions were very big leaving us with leftovers. My mom and I split the Paella which could have fed our table of four after we had a couple apps: octopus (which I highly recommend) and their plantain chips (instead of bread). My wife had the pork chunks and my sister shredded pork. We all had food for the next couple days. The drink pours were generous. The check, written in Spanish which I don’t read, was higher than I expected. The prices looked right so I just paid it. Looking at the menu it is a bit expensive but what restaurant isn’t? I will go back when I’m in Florida.
