This is a good hotel restaurant meal. My son had a great steak and i had a great salad and artichoke. We had a nice waiter but the food took a very long time to come out. The restaurant is pretty large and was pretty busy so they probably needed more kitchen staff. Also the lighting and acoustics could be better. Felt a little like we were eating in the lobby but that’s probably because of the way it was built origin... View all feedback.
What sumeshk2014 doesn't like about Oceanview:
Good restaurant and bar , the food is very tasty and we got well crafted cocktails , Only one issue that when we seek some help to choose the cocktails , the staff in the counter is seems that , they are not interested to help View all feedback.

Skip the crab cake appetizer unless you like them soft and mushy. The Caesar salad needs more flavor garlic perhaps. Other than that, the food was delicious. The window view is nice but the place gets busy and there's lots of noise from the bar. Live music in the lobby is helpful to cover it up. Try the salmon! The outside is crispy and flavorful. Tender scallops with risotto were tasty. Finish with dark chocolate mousse topped with cream and toasted coconut.
I had the pleasure of sitting with Tyler at the bar and what a wonderful experience. I was trying to decide between the beef short rib and the fillet. I’ve had the fillet several times and it has always been amazing. I was considering going with what I know Tyler suggested the beef short rib and it was absolutely everything!!! I will suggest you order an additional side of mashed potatoes the portion on the plate is a teaspoon…”Literally” but they are vey good! go for the bar that staff is amazing..
Last night we had dinner at 3030 Ocean inside the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort Spa at 3030 Holiday Dr, Ft Lauderdale. We chose this because we had received a restaurant.com certificate as a gift. We had 6pm reservations. We arrived at about 5:45pm. Valet parking was $15 which was about what I expected. We headed to the restaurant and we’re greeted by the host who checked us in and about 5 minutes later we were taken to our table. We had a really nice view. The staff the we interacted with were all very nice. The restaurant and the resort are really nice as well. We started with a grey goose extra dirty martini with extra olives and a double grey goose on the rocks. We then decided to go vegetarian and ordered 3 shareables which filled us up completely. The food was sublime. Fantastic flavors and extremely well prepared. We had the focaccia with goat cheese tomato jam, heirloom carrots grilled asparagus. We never new this existed and we definitely will be back.
