Steelpan Kitchen - Fort Lauderdale

Great place for a relaxing dinner and drinks. The mahi sandwich and shrimp ceviche were delicious. Our server Amy has provided excellent service so that we will visit it next night

I often come to Ft. Lauderdale when on vacation to visit family and we enjoy eating in Steelpan. Every year I came here today to dinate, I had one of the worst experiences of eating. This is the first time I saw this place out of control. After I sat down, I felt uncomfortable. The manager Destiny reected marijuana and constantly took care of another employee. She wanted me to eat at the buffet I wasn't interested in. When I asked for the bill to be split between 4 of us, I was told that it was not possible and that there was a hard time. I hope the service will be better because this is my favorite place to eat when visiting family and friends.

Excellent food and service! We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Steelpan during our stay at Sonesta. The French Toast Island was phenomenal and one of the most unique breakfast dishes I ever had. It had Guava and cream cheese and was from this world! The Steelpan Burger was cooked for perfection and had a bacon jam with goat cheese, which perfectly complements. This was 5 star food in a hotel and I would come back just for breakfast and lunch every day of the week. We asked to convince the boss and boss Adrian was very gracious and invited us to come back soon.

Make yourself a favor and enjoy the amazing food and services in Steelpan. They are never disappointed!!! NIE!!! The chef Mr. Kevin customer service is just as impeccable as the staff. I have told so many people about this place and I will definitely stay here again and again?

Excellent food! Lovely atmosphere! Amazing and friendly service! If you are in the area this is a must try! Tropical salad with the sugarcane grilled shrimp is a perfect entree salad. The jerk chicken wings are delicious and perfectly spiced.
