"As a Titanium with with Marriott I have never experienced anything like this. I flew in on Friday with my son for what we thought would be a great weekend only to be informed AT CHECKIN that the pool would close every day during our stay at 2pm for a private festival. Unacceptable! I travel enough to know that properties email their booked guest all the time to give them a heads up on things that might impact their stay: construction, remodels, restaurant closures, etc. There was NO notice given which means that they only concern themselves with occupancy rates rather than the care and comfort of their guests. I was offered by a manager comped resort fees or they that could cancel my reservation for no penalty. Right.....I just flew into Fort Lauderdale for a trip with my son and I am really going to search for another option. I have never, EVER, in my travels, encountered anything like this. The worst part is....management and ownership are just shrugging it off. NEVER AGAIN HERE!"

"Due to a recommendation from a friend, my girlfriend and I had dinner last night at La Dolce Vita in Fort Lauderdale. The service was phenomenal and it stood out from the moment we arrived. As we approached the doorway, one of the gentleman at the restaurant opened the door for us and escorted us to our table where he then continued to untucked our chairs for us and hand us menus. The excellent service and ambiance really gives this place an upscale feel. We ordered the soup of the day which was an onion soup and the insalata adriatica for appetizers which were both awesome. Then for our main courses we ordered the Garganelli Alla Bolognese and the Chitarrina La Dolce Vita. Both of these meals were absolutely delicious and had a very fresh taste. After we finished our meals we were both stuffed and so we informed our server that we would skip dessert. About 5 minutes later he returned with a fresh slice of tiramisu and insisted that we try it on the house. Wow! Overall, we had an amazing experience and will be sure to both return and recommend this place to our friends and family."

"I order from here very often. I've had their pan con tortilla it's the best I've ever had! The croquettes here are always fresh and delicious. They are the real ones not the pink pasty on the inside ones (yuck). Today I got the Pan con Bistec. So delicious the meat was thin and well seasoned and the bread soft and fresh. And the flan cheesecake wow!! Superb! Definitely recommend this place."

"Had a wine (Super Tuscan), mixed salad, appetizer, two pasta dinners, desserts and cappuccinos... everything was fabulous! The carbonara spaghetti (homemade) was some of the best I've ever had! So many wonderful daily specials also to choose from we'll be back! Make reservations, it's small and they fill up fast."

"Small but great service and amazing food! We got there and we got lucky they seated us right away! The food takes little while to get to your table because it?s being cooked fresh but that?s why you should order appetizers and that way the wait time won?tfeels as much. The atmosphere was great, their customer service was top notch and their prices were reasonable. I highlyrecommend this place for everyone who wants to enjoy great food and service!"
