"Nice to have this place here in Hawks Prairie now. I went in and ordered the Loco Moco. It comes with 2 beef patties on top of a bed of white rice with brown gravy and 2 eggs (cooked to order) and a side of macaroni. The flavor is good. My only complaint would be the beef patties where over cooked and dried out, they were gritty texture like you get from way over processed beef. The staff were friendly and the prices are reasonable. The tables in the restaurant needed to be cleaned. ALL OF THEM!. I was trying to give the benefit of a doubt that they were busy with dinner rush and were not yet able to wash the tables. But I was the only guest for about 10-15 minutes while waiting for my order to be made and the 2 employee behind the counter just stood there talking while waiting on the kitchen staff to make the orders. I will give them another opportunity as the other locations I've been to have not had these issues. Please do better!"

"The last time I came here was years ago. However, this time I came in to get coffee and do some work and I'm really glad I did! I came around 10am on a weekday so it was quiet and a great place to do my work. The music is pretty delightful to listen to while working and my white mocha tasted great. I also really appreciate the outlets and extensions chord as someone who always forgets to charge my laptop. Highly recommend! I will be coming back :"

"The building is dated. Which adds to the feel of the place and parking is right on site. Which is awesome when there is not a rush. But if you get a craving or wanna make a fun family stop as much as I want to recommend House of Donuts, I really cannot. The drive thru is on both sides of the building, and it seems built for mobile and drive thru orders. With the interior I'm glad to see a lot of room for the staff to work. They keep the window stocked pretty well. Every interaction with staff is a positive one. I feel guilty about my last interaction. I brought my son in before daycare and let him pick his donut . I let my son pay and didn't realize until after I walked out that it is a tipping establishment. Tipping is standard in the industry, and I get it, but I hope that the staff actually recieves all tips and the House of Donut does not collect them. This is why I'm tired of tipping in the area. As customers, we do not know where our tips go, and it puts us in the awkward position of asking a food service worker if they collect all their tips. If they receive all the money for tips, I will update the review and would also recommend clearly posting where the consumers' money goes. I wish there were smaller more child friendly donuts available as well. I can't remember if the do holiday themed donuts or not but I do plan on going to The House of Donuts a lot in the near future. I plan on updating my review and adding some pictures of their breathtaking retro sign. It is my favorite part (besides the great work from the staff ."

"This is the worst Taco Bell you could go to, I spent 14 dollars on a meal with two five layer beefy burritos that did not have any beef in them. I feel super cheated out of my lunch today. Came here for comfort food but I left with the price and none of the nice."

"This spot is a gem! My daughter and I had high tea this afternoon. What a lovely time we had! The delicious tea, fresh from the oven scones, and finger sandwiches were perfect! It’s a lovely place with charming table tops and decor. Plus live piano playing! Terry is a very special lady who treats her guests like family. As do the other staff! We were greeted with hugs and left with them as well! We will most definitely return!"
